About Me

I was born in 1980 and raised in West Zealand. Since 1999, I have called Copenhagen my home, and I hold a degree in psychology from the University of Copenhagen. Prior to establishing myself as an independent psychologist, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry with organisational psychological issues. My work encompassed various areas, including management coaching, training, team development, recruitment, conflict management, and fostering healthy psychological, social, and organisational work environments. Alongside my corporate responsibilities, I maintained a private practice, working with individual clients and couples. I have always been drawn to both aspects of psychological work, finding fulfilment in delving into the lives of individuals while also navigating the complexities of relationships, families, and organisations. Ultimately, my aim has always been to facilitate positive change for the individuals and groups I assist.

This has made me acutely aware that organisational psychology and psychotherapy are closely intertwined. The same individuals who go to work and experience job satisfaction, collaboration challenges, and stressors are, outside of work, someone's partner, spouse, lover, child, parent, friend, or business partner.

Each of these roles and experiences brings both joys and challenges, sometimes necessitating psychological counselling. It is in this capacity I can help you acquire new strategies, gain a better understanding of yourself and your environment, and navigate life's complexities. I always find it interesting to engage in both clinical therapy work and tackle organisational psychological tasks. To ensure a sharp mind and continuous development of my methods, I actively participate in relevant further education and receive supervision for my work.

At the core of my work is a driving force fueled by curiosity — an earnest desire to understand people, create meaning, and foster stronger relationships. I approach my work with a sense of humour and a pragmatic mindset.

I look forward to helping you discover greater joy in life.
